Chelsom collaborated closely with the Wimberly Interiors teams in Dallas and New York to create a striking bespoke wall lighting installation for the guestrooms at The Westin New York at Times Square.
Inspired by the novel A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, the custom design brings the concept to life through an arrangement of organic, branching forms extending across the wall above the beds. Individual light sources and decorative elements combine to create a sculptural focal point, bringing warmth, movement and a distinctive sense of place to the guestroom interiors.
Developed specifically for the project, the installation demonstrates Chelsom’s expertise in translating a creative design concept into a fully realised bespoke lighting solution, balancing visual impact with the practical requirements of a busy hospitality environment.
