Lighting by Chelsom was specified in the £3.4 million overhaul of 100 guest rooms at the iconic Waldorf Hilton, London. Polished chrome LED reading lights set into the Italian leather headboards with antique brass studs, are functional yet complement perfectly the sophisticated art deco appearance of the rooms. The calm and tranquil Fox Linton guest room scheme in pastel colours, is enhanced by the night stand lamps with elegant, tapered columns, in a hand-hammered gold finish and with shades in luxurious Ivory Indian dupion silk. The lighting scheme also includes an adjustable desk lamp in polished chrome finish and tapered cylinder shade in an Ivory silk to complement the bedside lighting.
In the corridors, Chelsom have supplied large custom Ivory pleated pendant shade fittings suspended from brushed nickel ceiling plates to provide ambient lighting sympathetic to the elegant Edwardian heritage of this historic hotel.
