PORTABLES BY CHELSOM COMING SOON

As Chelsom approaches its 80th anniversary, the company is set to launch its brand-new lighting collection, Portables by Chelsom, on 19^th May at Clerkenwell Design Week. Portables is a bold new collection of cordless, decorative lighting designed specifically for the Bar and Restaurant, Hospitality and Marine sectors.

After decades as a global leader in mains powered decorative lighting for hotel and cruise ship projects, Chelsom has taken a considered and refined approach to launching this new product category. As with all Chelsom products, Portables is a design-led collection that brings the brand’s signature aesthetic to one of the industry’s fastest-growing product areas.

Created under the direction of Will Chelsom and James Bartlett, the Portables range is designed with interior designers at its core. Available in elegant Aged Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes, and paired with beautifully crafted blown glass, timeless fabrics, and metal shades, each piece delivers a distinctive atmosphere alongside brilliant functionality.

Engineered for performance as well as style, the collection features four-step dimming, fast two-hour charging, and up to 90 hours of battery life. Supporting accessories, including multi-lamp charging trays and trolleys, ensuring seamless operation in busy restaurant and bar environments.

While ideal for hospitality settings, Portables transitions effortlessly into guest rooms, cruise cabins, and residential interiors, offering versatility in aesthetics without compromising on design.
