Chelsom Create Lighting Scheme for World’s Largest Cruise Ship

Chelsom collaborated with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, shipyard Meyer Turku, electrical contractors and in-house and external design teams to deliver custom lighting for RCCL’s Icon Of The Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship.

Chelsom were involved in the design and manufacture of a large majority of lighting for both the suites and cabins and public areas, supplying over 200 fittings covering a wide variety of different lighting designs.

Our extensive knowledge and experience of the marine sector, coupled with a long-standing relationship with RCCL meant that we were the perfect partner to deliver such a challenging and unique newbuild project. Successful completion of the project has seen Chelsom designs specified for Utopia Of The Seas which is set to launch later this year.
